Omega VRT330 Vertical Single Auger Masticating Juicer Reviews

Omega is one of the top brands for home juicers on the market today.  They are known for making products that are reliable and durable.  Their juicers are recognized throughout the world for their quality craftsmanship and high performance.

Hands down, the VRT330 is arguably one of the best juicers around, based solely on its performance.  The VRT330 is the first juicer ever to feature the Low Speed Technology System, which crushes and presses the pulp rather than spinning it around vigorously.

The juicer only runs at a speed of 80 rotations per minute.  This ensures a lower heat level, preserving vital enzymes, vitamins, and nutrients, leading to higher quality juice.  The low speed also guarantees less foam and froth. The VRT330 is known to juice all types of vegetables, fruits, leafy greens, and even soybeans.  The Low Speed Technology System also produces maximum juice yield, extracting more juice than its competitors and expelling bone dry pulp.

Owners and reviewers both agree the VRT330 is remarkably easy to use and clean.  The VRT330 comes equipped with the Automatic Wiping System, or AWS, which is similar to the windshield wiper found on cars.  The wiper is a wiping blade made of silicone, and aids with cleanup of the machine.  Owners say the AWS is incredibly useful for cleanup and helps to save valuable effort and time.  Many owners say that cleanup is a breeze with the VRT330. All parts can be rinsed with running water after each juicing session.  It doesn’t get any easier.  Another positive feature of the VRT330 is how quietly it operates. You won’t have to worry about waking the neighbors at any time of day or night with a juicing session ever again.

Yet another positive of the VRT330 is its compact size.  The VRT330 requires less space than most centrifugal juicers on the market today.  In addition, its attractive and sleek design is a welcome addition into any kitchen.

The VRT330 is not among the cheapest of juicers, but reviewers agree it is a quality product that is worth every penny.  The VRT330 has proven to be incredibly durable and efficient.  It is made to last through heavy duty and frequent use over long periods of time. Omega is so confident in its durability that it comes backed with a comprehensive ten-year warranty, guaranteeing high-quality performance and your complete satisfaction.

Despite all its positive features, there are a couple of drawbacks to the VRT330.  The feeding chute is not big enough to fit whole fruits and vegetables.  Some time and effort is needed in preparing and cutting down fruits and vegetables to a workable size so that they’ll fit down the chute.  Another downside is the weight of the juicer.  Weighing in at a hefty 20 pounds, some owners complain that the VRT330 is overly bulky and heavy.  However, the weight also ensures stability in the base of the juicer.

Omega VRT330 durability? You have got to be kidding.
After having my VRT330 for about a year, while juicing carrots cut up in small pieces, 2 or 3 cogs of the little white plastic star-shaped gadget in the bottom of the bowl fractured off also leading to irreparable damage to the strainer. As the little gadget is not sold separately (and I don’t understand why not) I had to purchase a complete new bowl – not to mention having to wait for several months for Omega to supply one.
OK, so I finally get the replacement bowl along with new strainer and I’m juicing again. Lo and behold after about 8 months the same thing happens all over again in exactly similar juicing circumstances
I thought that the first fracture was a fluke but the second one leads me to think that there is perhaps a flaw in the design of this little gadget or the or the quality of the material from which it is made. Omega might do well to look into this.
